Hey there! I'm Clare - animal lover, former zookeeper and proud mum of 2 wild humans.

My love for animals has always been there since I can remember, from catching caterpillars and snails in my back garden at the age of 5, and making them little habitats in my bedroom, much to my mums dismay.

I then went to University where I studied BSc Wildlife Ecology and Behaviour and I loved it so much I continued to do an MSc in Conservation Biology whilst doing a voluntary placement at my first big UK zoo.  

After Uni I got my first paid zookeeper role and it is here my love for educating people, especially children was sparked with the 'Meet the Keeper' sessions that I used to host.  I then continued my career working at 2 other zoological collections where I have worked with a range of species from Orangutans and Polar Bears to butterflies and Frogs.

I believe every animal has a story to tell, and I'm here to share it in a way that is interactive, educational and most importantly FUN!
